Everything we fix, install and replace, sorted by the problem you actually have. Pick the one that matches, or call and describe what the plumbing is doing.
Plumbing services in Wake Forest, NC from White’s Plumbing & Electrical cover the water going into a building and the waste coming out of it: drains and sewer lines, leaks and pipe replacement, water heaters, fixtures, well pumps, filtration, sump pumps, new construction rough-in and commercial work. Seventeen of those have their own page, and the full list is one scroll down.
Our shop is at 730 Park Ave in Youngsville, roughly fifteen minutes from downtown Wake Forest, so the whole corridor between the two is ordinary territory. We also cover Rolesville, Franklinton, Louisburg, Bunn, Zebulon, Wendell, Knightdale, Raleigh, Durham and Henderson.
This page exists to get you to the right place quickly. If you already know what broke, take the link. If you only know the symptom — no hot water, a smell, a bill that jumped — skip to the symptom list and work backwards from there.
Seven groups, seventeen services. Each one links to its own page with what the job involves and what it costs to leave alone.
Most people call us with a symptom, not a diagnosis. Find yours below and it will point you at the right page. None of this is a substitute for a look at the actual plumbing, but it will tell you roughly what you are dealing with.
Start at water heater services. If the hot runs out partway through a shower rather than never arriving, the tank is usually undersized or sedimented rather than dead, and that is the moment people ask about tankless. Hard water shortens the life of an element or a burner in this area faster than the brochure suggests.
If it is running now and you cannot shut it off, stop reading and call emergency leak services on (919) 316-0025. If it is a stain, a damp patch or a sound behind a wall, that is leak detection.
Where the leak is changes the job entirely. In a newer Wake Forest subdivision built on slab, a supply leak is under the floor. In an older crawl-space house toward Youngsville or Franklinton, the same leak is something you can get underneath and see.
Count the fixtures. One slow drain is a branch blockage and a drain cleaning job. Every drain in the house slow at the same time, or a toilet that gurgles when the washer empties, points at the main line and belongs on sewer line repair. A line that clears and closes again every few months usually needs hydro jetting rather than another cable.
That is a leak until proven otherwise, and a running toilet is the most common one. Check the toilets first, then book leak detection. The EPA reckons household leaks waste around a trillion gallons a year nationally, and its Fix a Leak Week guidance walks through the checks you can do yourself before anyone comes out.
A sewage smell usually means waste gas is getting past a trap or a vent, or that a line is partly blocked and holding water it should not. Either way, start with drain cleaning and be ready for it to become a sewer line conversation. A sulphur smell on a well, by contrast, is usually water chemistry rather than drainage.
On a private well that is a pump, a pressure tank or a switch, which is well pump services. On town water in Wake Forest it is more often corroded or scaled supply pipe, and if it has been getting worse for years the answer is repiping rather than another patch.
Orange staining in a tub and crust on the aerators is the standard signature of iron and hardness. That is a water filtration question, and it is worth answering, because the same minerals are quietly shortening the life of the water heater and every fixture in the house.
Heavy summer storms put water into Triangle crawl spaces, and a crawl space that stays wet is a problem for the structure long before it is a problem for the plumbing. Sump pump installation is the usual fix, once we have checked the water is groundwater and not a supply leak.
Two things shape almost every plumbing call between Wake Forest and Youngsville, and neither shows up in a national article.
Wells and town water are different jobs. Much of Franklin County runs on private wells, so the plumbing has a pump, a pressure tank and a switch in it, and the water arrives carrying iron and hardness straight out of the ground. Wake Forest is on municipal town water, which brings chlorine and main pressure instead, and no pump to fail. The same symptom means different things on either side of that line.
Hard water is the regional constant. Scale builds on heater elements, on aerators, inside valve bodies and across shower heads, and it is the quiet reason fixtures and heaters here do not last as long as the label says.
The housing stock splits the same way. Older homes toward Youngsville and Franklinton sit on crawl spaces with galvanised or early copper supply. Newer Wake Forest subdivisions sit on slab with PEX or CPVC, which is better pipe in a harder place to reach. And because the Triangle grew so fast, a large share of the plumbing around here is construction-era work now five to twenty years old, which is precisely when the first round of fittings, valves and water heaters starts asking for attention.
The list above covers both. A few things worth knowing about where the edges are.
Houses, additions and remodels across Wake Forest, Youngsville, Rolesville, Franklinton and Louisburg. Every service in the directory above is available on a home.
The pipe is the same, the clock is not. Work on a trading building is planned around your hours and signed off by whoever holds the lease, which is why it has its own commercial plumbing page.
We open a line that grease has coated, and jetting is what does it properly. Emptying the trap itself is a vacuum truck job, so keep your pumping contractor for that part.
Water heaters, well pumps, sump pumps and disposals all sit where plumbing meets wiring. We hold both trades, so those jobs do not stall waiting on a second contractor. Our electrical services are listed separately.
We are a plumbing and electrical shop. Furnaces, heat pumps, air handlers and duct work are somebody else’s trade, and we would rather say so than half-do it.
We run discounts for veterans and active duty military, first responders, teachers and seniors. Current amounts are on the specials page.
Same shape whichever service you picked off the list.
Tell us what the plumbing is doing right now, when it started, and whether the building is on a well or town water. Those three answers usually decide what goes on the truck.
We find the cause rather than the symptom, because a drain that closes every few months and a drain that closed once are not the same problem and do not take the same fix.
You approve a number before anything is opened up, along with the honest version of what happens if what is behind the wall is worse than what is in front of it.
The fixture or the line gets run and checked, and you get told what was done and what to watch for. If something else looked close to failing, you hear about that too, without a sales pitch attached.
Before you call, if you can: find the main shutoff and know how to close it, note which fixtures are affected and which are fine, and check whether the house is on a well or on town water. Those three details shorten almost every first visit.
Seventeen plumbing services under one number, so a job that turns out to be two jobs does not turn into two contractors.
We hold both trades. On a well pump, a heater or a disposal that matters more than it sounds.
Our truck reads Certified Well Contractor, which is not a common line on a plumbing van and is exactly what Franklin County needs.
You are calling a shop on Park Avenue in Youngsville that works this corridor daily, not a call center reading a script three states away.
A burst line at 11 PM does not wait for business hours, and neither does the emergency line on (919) 316-0025.
The number comes before the work, not after it, and so does the explanation of what could change it.
White’s Plumbing & Electrical is a Youngsville shop working the Wake Forest corridor, not a franchise with a rotating roster. The technicians who come out are the same people whose names customers use in our Google reviews, which is the sort of thing you only get from a small crew.
We are members of the Franklin County Home Builders Association and PHCC of North Carolina, and a platinum sponsor of local school athletic departments. That is less a credential than a description of where we live.
If you would rather talk it through than pick a page, the contact form takes as much detail as you want to give it, and (919) 435-0736 reaches us for service and estimates.

Downtown Wake Forest is roughly a fifteen minute run from the shop, and the Capital Boulevard and NC 98 corridors are the same trip. Beyond Wake Forest we cover Youngsville, Rolesville, Franklinton, Louisburg, Bunn, Zebulon, Wendell, Knightdale, Raleigh, Durham and Henderson.
Seventeen of them, grouped on this page by the kind of problem they solve: drains and sewers, leaks and pipes, water heating, fixtures, water supply and treatment, drainage, and larger projects like new construction and commercial work. Every one has its own page with the detail on it. If you are not sure which you need, use the symptom list on this page or call (919) 435-0736 and describe what the plumbing is doing.
Yes. Our shop is at 730 Park Ave in Youngsville, about fifteen minutes from downtown Wake Forest, and Wake Forest is a normal day for us. We also cover Rolesville, Franklinton, Louisburg, Bunn, Zebulon, Wendell, Knightdale, Raleigh, Durham and Henderson.
Yes. A lot of Franklin County runs on private wells rather than town water, so well pumps, pressure tanks and the iron and hardness that come with well water are regular work for us. Our service truck reads Certified Well Contractor. Wake Forest homes on municipal town water are a different set of problems, mostly chlorine, pressure and scale.
The test is how many fixtures are affected. One slow sink, tub or shower is usually a blockage in that fixture branch, which is a drain cleaning job. Every drain in the house running slow at once, or a toilet that gurgles when the washing machine empties, points at the main line out to the sewer instead. Tell us which one you have when you call and it changes what we bring.
Both. Most of our work is in houses, and we also take commercial work: offices, restaurants, salons, retail units, churches and small industrial bays. Commercial jobs get scheduled around your trading hours, so there is a separate commercial plumbing page with how that works.
Yes, the emergency line at (919) 316-0025 is answered around the clock. If water is running now and you cannot shut it off, call that number rather than filling in the contact form. If you can reach the main shutoff safely, close it first.
Yes. White's Plumbing and Electrical holds both trades, which matters more often than you would think, because water heaters, well pumps, sump pumps and disposals all sit at the point where plumbing meets wiring. Our electrical services are listed on their own page. We do not do heating or air conditioning.
Pick the service above, or just tell us what the plumbing is doing and we will work out which one it is.
