Add Outlets Where You Actually Need Them
Every house on Forestville Road was built with maybe two outlets per room. Now you’ve got phone chargers, lamps, TVs, computers, alexa devices—and your running extension cords under rugs just to plug everything in. When you need electrical outlet installation in Wake Forest, NC, we can add outlets exactly where you need them without tearing up your whole house.
We’ve been installing outlets in Wake Forest homes since 2012. From the old houses downtown to the new builds past Heritage Town Square, we know how these homes are wired and where adding outlets makes the most sense.
Why You Need More Outlets
Count how many things you’ve got plugged in right now. Bet it’s way more than your house was designed for. Older homes around Wait Avenue and South White Street have outlets every 12 feet if your lucky. Building codes now require outlets every 6 feet because people actually need them there.
Running extension cords permanently is a fire hazard. So is overloading power strips. That burnt smell near your entertainment center? That’s too many devices pulling power through one outlet that can’t handle it.
Electrical Outlet Installation for Home Offices
Half of Wake Forest works from home now. Your spare bedroom wasn’t set up for that. You need outlets for your computer, monitor, printer, desk lamp, phone charger, and maybe a space heater in winter. One outlet with a power strip isn’t gonna cut it.
We install dedicated circuits for home offices all the time. Multiple outlets spread around the room so you’re not daisy-chaining power strips together. Some folks want USB outlets built right in—super convenient and they charge your phone faster.
Kitchen and Bathroom Outlet Upgrades
Kitchens need tons of outlets now. Coffee maker, toaster, microwave, instant pot, stand mixer, phone charging station—and that’s just the counter. We add outlets under cabinets, inside islands, wherever makes sense for how you actually use your kitchen.
Bathrooms need GFCI outlets by code. These special outlets shut off when they detect moisture so you don’t get shocked. Old bathrooms only have one outlet by the mirror. We add more so you can plug in hair dryers, electric razors, straighteners, and everything else without unplugging stuff constantly.
Outdoor Outlet Installation
Want outlets on your deck or patio? We install weather-resistant outlets that can handle rain and humidity. Perfect for string lights, electric grills, outdoor speakers, or charging your lawnmower battery.
Outdoor outlets need GFCI protection just like bathrooms. Water and electricity don’t mix. We make sure everything’s protected and up to code so you can use your outdoor spaces safely.

The next day White’s plumbing dug the broken pipe out, removed the roots, replaced the pipe and did a camera inspection of the entire line leading to the house and into the street.
They were also able to successfully find the house clean out which was under a bush a landscaping contractor had covered up years ago. They raised the pipe and put on a new cover for the house clean out.
They communicated well, were thorough and prompt. They finished the day before our 5 inch snow storm.
Above all else they wanted us to be set before the snow came.
They were also very reasonable in price. The coordination between Keith, the office staff and the plumbers was great!
White’s is very responsive, exactly what you need and expect when you’re having plumbing problems. They showed up the same day we called them.
Eric came out to our house to fix an issue with a drain pipe and a water pipe. He was very professional! He called before he arrived and told us what time to expect him. He was on time! He was friendly and explained exactly what he was doing.
Eric’s troubleshooting skills are great. He started with the simple things to check and moved on from there. He was respectful of our property and only cut into the wall when there was no other choice. The way he was able to triage the issue, he was able to pinpoint the issue and only cut into the wall where necessary.
Once he found the issue, Eric was able to fix it quickly and using quality materials. It’s probably better than when it was first put in!
I highly recommend White’s Plumbing. If Eric services your area, ask for him!
